In the third in the series The Journey of Wholeness, meditation teacher & psycho-spiritual therapist Alex Boianghu and I discuss how to disentangle from the conditioned self and cultivate the experience of true freedom and wholeness.
Mental and emotional conditioning is how your brain and body hold together your perceived reality and give continuity to your life. The many traumas, large and small, create frozen states of emotional and mental conditioning that also lock up the area of the body associated with the trauma. This episode Alex leads us in the steps to disentangle from these frozen traumas and conditioning, which not only brings great emotional and physical relief, but also brings you into a state of wholeness with your true nature.

Most people come to the path of deconditioning because they are suppering on some way, but many people are conditioned to believe that suffering is the way life is, that there is nothing to be done about it but to keep suffering.
People often try to relieve the things that they attribute suffering to, like money, health, painful relationships and so on, without realizing that suffering simply attaches to another external manifestation, and that to relieve suffering, you need to work with the cause of suffering itself, which is grasping for something that you feel is missing.
Learning to disentangle from conditioning and conditioned emotions supports greater self-compassion as well as compassion for others and the various energies, traumas, dramas and events in the world.
Disentangling from conditioning, beliefs and perceptions releases locked up energy in the body and can lead to relief from chronic pain, chronic conditions and other physical symptoms.
Conditioned contractions in the body are locked up energetic spaces where the information to heal the contraction is held. As you release these locked up places you may experience the thoughts, feelings and even physical reactions that have been repressed into contraction. This can be uncomfortable but it is the path to true freedom and wholeness.
The conditioned contractions you hold in your body are where the shadow lives—the shadow is not “bad” it is simply where you do not or cannot see, whether because it is too painful or because it conflicts with your beliefs about yourself and your life.
